How to Take Your Measurements for a Dress

For the best fit, please measure over your undergarments (not bulky clothing). Keep the tape measure level and snug against the body, but not pulled tight.

1 Bust: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it parallel to the floor. Relax your arms at your sides.

2 Natural Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso. This is typically about an inch above your belly button. (If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waist).

3 Hips: Stand with your feet together and wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks (usually 7 to 9 inches below your waistline).

4 Dress Length: Measure from the highest point of your shoulder, straight down over the fullest part of your bust, to where you want the hemline of the dress to end.

Pro Tip: Keep one finger flat behind the tape measure so the dress has comfortable moving room. If you plan to wear specific heels with the dress, please measure the length while wearing them!
